This surveillance footage, provided by the NYPD, shows the

suspect police are looking for in connection with three assaults.

We got word today that the New York City Police Department has linked the suspect in a sexual assault that occurred in Fort Greene on Jan. 19, to two other assaults. Police said that the suspect, described as a 30 to 35-year-old man, 5' 11" to 6' tall, with a medium build and light colored hair, is responsible for attacking three women during January.

The first assault occurred on Jan. 9 in Bensonhurst, police said. The suspect approached a 28-year-old woman near the corner of New Utrecht Avenue and 63rd Street at 2 a.m., pushed her up against a fence and exposed himself, police said, but the woman was able to fight the man off and flee without physical injuries.

In the second assault, which happened on Jan. 19 at 1:30 a.m., the suspect attacked a 25-year-old woman near the corner of St. Felix Street and Hanson Place, police said. In this assault he tried to remove the woman’s clothing, police said, but fled when a bystander heard her screams and approached.

The third assault, which we reported earlier this week, happened on Jan. 26 at 1:15 a.m., police said. The suspect grabbed a 24-year-old woman, police said, pushed her up against a fence and tried to remove her underwear. The man was scared off when a bystander interrupted the attack, police said.

The police department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect wanted in connection with these three sexual assaults. If you have information about either assault, please call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Web site at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by text message — text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then enter TIP577.

Another Sexual Assault Near BAM

A creep attempted to rape a woman at Fulton and Cumberland streets on Jan. 26 but fled because a witness cried for help — the second instance of sexual assault near BAM in the last two weeks.

In the most recent attack, the victim told cops she was at the intersection at around 1:15 a.m. when the man snuck up from behind, threw her up against a fence and said, “Don’t fight it, enjoy it.” He then forced his hand up her skirt and groped her. A witness in a nearby house cried for help, forcing the suspect to flee.

Cops only described the suspect as a white male — a characteristic shared by the suspect of the previous assault that went down on Jan. 19.

But a police source said that it had yet to be determined whether the same man is thought to have been involved in both crimes.

"A determination will be made by the Special Victims Unit," the source said.

In the previous incident, the 25-year-old victim told cops she was walking near St. Felix Street and Hanson Place at around 1:30 a.m. when a man grabbed her from behind and tried to rip off her clothing.

The woman screamed, and the man fled. The woman wasn't injured, cops said.

Police released a sketch of a suspect in the Jan. 19 crime, who they described as a white male, 30 to 35 years old, with a medium build and light hair. He was wearing a dark pea coat with a light-colored, button-down shirt, according to the police.
